Worst day of my life... $ wise

If four years ago when i first started playing online poker, someone told me that I would eventually lose 35,000$ in one day, I probably would have told them they were crazy. well 4 years later and here i am stuck 35k at the end of a terrible terrible night.

Day started out with me going to the casino to register for the 1500 2nd chance tournament. I got there at about 4:20 and the tournament started at 5. I registered right away and then was bored for about 5 mins and decided to go play roulette with a couple thousand before the tournament started. You should know something about me though... I really enjoy playing roulette, its alot of fun in my opinion. one of the only house edge games that i actually enjoy playing... sometimes i feel like i have an edge using the system that i do but i know deep down inside that i really dont. So anyways I play roulette for about 25 mins and I lost almost every spin and was stuck about 3100 euros and then left pretty disgusted to go play the tourney.

I sit down at the tournament and try to forget about the fact i lost 3100 euros already and focus on playing a solid game. we start with 12k i get up to about 14k and then i play this very interesting hand. I open the c/o with 54dd to 400 with blinds 75 150, button flats and bb calls also. Flop 6d 8h 10d. bb checks i bet 850 planning on shoving if i get raised by one of the guys and hoping to just take it down with this bet. the button makes it 2k kinda small re raise... i didnt really think about what he had i just was going with my initial thought or pushing it. bb folds... instead of shoving i throw in everything except a 5k chip... the guy quickly asks the dealer how much is the bet? and then throws in the calling chips and thinking that i was all in he goes to flip over his cards and as the dealer is stopping him saying im not all in I see one of his cards, the K of Diamonds. So now i know he has either KQ dd or KK. the turn comes and 8 so now i kno im losing right now obviously cuz i have frickin 5 hi. so i decide to check b/c if i go all in he is calling anyway and if he has KK he will push me in on the turn, but if he has KQdd he may just check behind and then i can bet the river if no K comes and just hope he missed and will fold. So he quickly checks behind and the river is a K... so i know im dead i cant bet he wont fold so i just check and he goes to bet... i tell him i saw the king and i muck my hand. he apologizes for exposing his hand and i kind of chuckle but w/e at least i still have 5k chips.

I spew off 2k more and am left with 3k... i pick up TT utg and i limp in planning on shoving if there is a raise. 2 other guys limp in and one guy makes it 800... folds around to me i ship 3k total and he asks how much it is and then puts in the chips. i flip over TT and he nods and then flips over JJ im like cool nice slowroll nodding like im good with TT... flop A J 2 all clubs i have the T of clubs. turn 3 of clubs flush! river obv 3 pair the board gg me.

I get up and obviously head back to the roulette table to try to get my 3100 back i lost from earlier. I rollercoaster back and forth get stuck about 9k and get all of that back and end THAT session even... so still stuck 3100 on roulette. I go to eat dinner with a couple guys from poker battle and after dinner realize its 8 pm and the first wcoop event starts at 8:30 pm here. so i head back to the hotel to play it.

I quickly get my stack up from 3k to 9500 lose a couple pots and with 8500 i limp Q8 from the sb, bb checks flop is Qc 3 7c i bet 200 he makes it 600 and i ship my stack he had like 3800 left to call he takes like 30 seconds and then calls with bottom 2 which should be a snap call imo... i dont kno why but i was getting slowrolled all day so gross. wait till the end folks wait till the end. so then i have bout 4500 left and i play a pot a few mins later. c/o min raises to 200 (50/100) i make it 600 with A9dd on button bb cold calls the 3bet and c/o folds... flop is Kd 2c 5d... so he checks to me i cbet 950 planning on calling a shove... he insta ships i snap call he has JJ brick brick turn river and im out.... nh not sure why donks play this way but w/e.

So now i head back to the casino hoping to play some cash games and maybe try to get my 3100 back at roulette. Instead of going to see what games were running i go straight to the roulette wheel. I start hitting numbers left and right missing a few outside bets... i get to where im only stuck 500 on the day in roulette and i proceed to give away everything 12100 euros total down on roulette for the day... i bet 1st and 3rd 12 i think 3 times in a row and missed all 3. 1k on each then 1600 on each then 2400 on each. left me with 1700 in front of me which i put on 19-36 and it missed as well. so now im sick to my stomach feeling like an absolute idiot b/c i just dumped basically all my profits from last night.

Side note : I had told a few friends that if i ever got to where i was down or even on roulette, lifetime, then i would stop playing. Well i was up about 12k lifetime before today so after losing that 18k us$ im stuck 6k and done forever! me and my friend noah agreed tonight that if one of us sees the other one at a table game we owe the other person 5 grand. So yea im done.

So i go to where the cash games are running and there is a full table of 50 100 NL running... same game i played last night... same donks too. i put my name on the waiting list and im 5th on the frickin list so i know im going to have to wait a while b/c any good player wont leave that game with those fish there and the fish have tons of money to reload with. So i sit at another table while i wait which was 20 40 NL and i lost maybe 400 euros in like 3 hours... barely played any hands card dead. i finally get called in for the big game... i go sit down and there are only like 2 bad players left. i only have 9600 euros on me rest is at the hotel. so i sit with that. I cant hit a hand to save my life... i think i had 88 and below probably 12-14 times and i flopped one set and got no action.... which was so frickin weird for that game b/c guys were stacking off SO LIGHT. top pair A kicker stack off everytime it was so sick. i lost 100 here 200 here 300 here. near the end of the night i was so frustrated... it was 4:15 am and the floorman said 3 more hands to end the night... im in the bb and there are 5 limpers. I look down at pocket 7s... i only have 4900 in my stack so i just shove it in tilt shove obv. first limper folds 2nd limper is counting out chips as the other 2 guys fold out of turn. i dont even realize this guy is still in the hand and am joking with another guy about how i have to go all in to win a pot. someone informs me this guy is going to call me as the old man puts in the call. the guy was a huge nit so i figured bigger pair was hoping he had limped AK. flop 6 4 4 turn 9 river 6 decent board. guy doesnt do anything right away so i say outloud pocket 7s. he nods his head so i flip over my 77. he nods his head AGAIN and then tables 2 queens. im like what the hell. slowroll of the century. wanted to jump across the table and shove the chips down this guys throat. not only do this french players play terrible.... they have no sense of proper poker etiquette whatsoever. so ya i lost 10k euros at that game 12.1k at roulette and 1.5k at the 2nd chance... plus 215$ online. totally approx 35k us$ for the day.... sigh im gonna get it 2gether soon... you'll see.
