Well as most of you probably already know... i had a very disappointing showing at the final table of the PLO event 3 at the wsope. I entered the final table 2nd in chips with over double the stack of 6 of the 9 players at the table. pretty much every hand that i played i lost. i dont think i won a pot worth more than 10 bbs. Almost every all in player doubled up. I could have easily managed a 5th place or so if these players had been eliminated. I ended up taking down 8th place, on my bust hand i got the money in on basically a coin flip... i spiked on the turn, giving Theo only 8 outs... which he then re sucked and knocked me out.
I played the main event of the wsope yesterday... i was not feeling very well, but got my head on straight and started grinding. My table was INSANELY soft for what should have been in my mind, a very strong field. I had andy black and eric seidel at my table. Andy black plays weird and is easy to read... Seidel is solid and kind of nitty. I had tmay420 at my table aka Tim West... a very solid online crusher of MTTs, and then a solid older guy Jason Grey. Then there were 4 donks. I started taking down pot after pot never really having to showdown hands. I built my stack to about 40k. With about 10 mins left before dinner break, I decided to make an absolutely retarded play and tried to triple barrel eric seidel with K hi... he ended up shipping over my 11k river bet for only 7k more... which i obv had to fold to. it was so retarded, i dont even want to get into how bad i played the hand. So then i was kind of pissed i lost like half my stack right before dinner.
The dinner breaks at wsope are frickin 2 hours long... which is absolutely ridiculous. i'd prefer 1 hour... 90 mins is too long for me but its not terrible... 2 hours i just want to throw something. So i wait for what seems like forever to come back from dinner break. and on the first hand i have AQo in the bb. andy black is in the sb and raises to 800 150 300 blinds. i make it 2500, and he INSTANTLY makes it 8500... i only have 19k total. Looking back this should be a fold here every time vs him. I hadnt seen him 4 bet anyone yet in 6 hours except once when he had AA... every other time he was 3 bet he either snap called or folded. So his range here is JJ QQ KK AA AK... and i like a donk with no fold equity shove my AQ. He snap calls with KK. Heres the best part about the hand. Flop comes A 4 3... turn 6 RIVER K! lol whatever i deserve it for playing retarded. I'm gonna go play the 1k pound double chance omaha tournament over at the Vic at 6 pm today. We'll see how that goes. Im really debating on whether i want to extend my trip a few more days to go to niagara and play the WPT. ill have to figure it out soon i guess

I don't know beans about poker or reading people at a table. But it sounds like you are pushing it, trying too hard. Try to remember how you felt at the table in Italy.
Get that feeling back. A lot of it is just weird, like sports. When you are in the flow, it's like nothing is impossible. Like when I got six strikes in a row in bowling.
